Senior Asst. Prof. Aglaya Mavrova, PhD in Educational sciences, is part of the Department of Teaching Methodology in the Faculty of Slavic Studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She teaches courses in Teaching Methodology of Russian, as well as courses of Russian language for non-specialists. Her research interests are in education, foreign language acquisition, contrastive studies of language and culture, as well as the cultural history of Russia
