About the Series

ISSN 2815-3731

Each volume is assigned an individual ISBN and DOI.

Experior is an electronic series that provides an opportunity for both young and established scholars in the humanities to publish peer-reviewed academic works, including:

  • articles
  • studies
  • monographs
  • translations of historically significant texts and sources (from ancient and modern languages, with copyright clearance ensured for contemporary authors), accompanied by related studies (introductory or concluding).

The editorial board is the same as that of the Philological Forum journal. The editor of the Experior journal is P. Petrov, PhD.

The series is indexed in CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library).

The thematic scope of the publications covers not only philological disciplines, but also other fields within the humanities. The languages of publication include all Slavic languages, as well as English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. The series remains open expanding this list. Authors are required to select an academic editor for their work; if necessary, the Experior team may recommend a suitable editor. For publications in foreign languages, authors are also required to select a language editor. The names of all editors are explicitly stated in all types of publications. Authors are responsible for ensuring the proofreading of their submissions.

The peer-review process is organised by the editorial team of the series.

The criteria for publication in the Еxperior series are analogous to those of the Philological Forum journal (see Publication Guidelines), with the following differences:

The maximum length is up to 20 standard pages for articles, up to 100 standard pages for studies, and between 100 and 300 standard pages for monographs (based on 1,800 characters including spaces per page).

Transliteration of bibliographical references is not required at the manuscript submission stage.

Authors are required to comply with the ethical standards, and the copyright policy of the publication.
