artist Petra KerkenezovaAuditorium FF is an initiative of the team behind the Philological Forum Journal, which includes a variety of public activities.
One of them is devoted to books published by authors published in the journal. It includes a series of activities that we have introduced over time.
The first relates to organising online presentations of forthcoming books under the title “Virtual premieres”.
- We started with the premiere of Galina Valcheva-Dimitrova, PhD’s monograph Models of Remembering Childhood (Bulgarian Prose between the 1920s and the 1980s).
- The second premiere was that of Alexander Hristov’s book of poetry To the First Shadow..
- The third premiere was of the scholarly collections Knowledge and Transhumanitarian R/Evolution and Science Fiction and the Future.
- The fourth premiere was of Teodora Lalova’s In Such Afternoons.
The next activity involves organising public lectures by prominent and young scholars.
- The focus of the first event were the lectures of our guests from Ukraine, Tetyana Ryazantseva, Ph.D., Lead Research Fellow of the Institute of Literature with the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, and Evgenia Kanchura, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the University of Zhytomyr. More information about the event can be found here.
We also organise meetings with writers and poets.
- The first meeting was a conversation with the writer Yanitsa Radeva.
